Enhancing Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis, L.) Growth and Volatile Oil Constituents Grown under Soil Salinity Stress by Some Amino Acids

The current study was carried out during the two consecutive winter seasons of 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 at Experimental Farm Ash-Shoubak University College, Jordan, as a pot experiment. This experiment planned to evaluate impact various soil salinity levels (1.17, 3.34, 6.51, 9.68 ds/m) amino acid types (control, L-tryptophan 100 ppm, glutamine 200 + acid) well their combinations on growth, salt resistance index, some chemical constituents rosemary plants. obtained results indicated that plant height total herb dry weight rosemary, index (SRI), chlorophyll in leaves were discernably reduced with increasing compared control. However, enhanced leaf proline content. Each or its mixture improved content, SRI parameters. percentage R. officinalis more than 100% under level 1.17 ds/m, combined acids any type, when other combination treatments.
